Online Coaching for Competitive Exams

Online coaching gets sold on the wrong promise. The pitch is usually “study anywhere, anytime” — which is exactly the freedom that causes most online aspirants to fall behind by week six. What actually makes an online batch work is the opposite: a fixed schedule, someone who notices when you stop showing up, and a test series that tells you the truth about where you stand.

That is how D.I.C.E. Institute runs its online courses. Same faculty as our Thane, Dadar and Borivali classrooms, same syllabus, same test series — delivered live, on a timetable.

What Our Online Course Includes

  • Live classes on a fixed weekly timetable, not a folder of pre-recorded videos you are left to work through alone.
  • Recorded backup of every session, so a missed class because of work or travel does not become a missed chapter.
  • The full mock test series — sectional tests, full-length mocks and previous year papers with All India Rank, State Rank and topic-wise accuracy.
  • Doubt-solving sessions with the faculty who taught the class, not a separate support desk.
  • Study material and current affairs delivered digitally on the same schedule as the classroom batches.

Who Online Coaching Actually Suits

Working professionals who cannot commit to a fixed travel window on weekdays. See our weekend batch schedule as well — many students combine the two.

Students outside the Mumbai region — aspirants who want Maharashtra-specific preparation for MH CET MBA and MH CET Law, which national online platforms cover thinly or not at all.

Repeaters who already have the syllabus and need structure, mocks and correction rather than concept classes from zero.

Students in the final revision phase who would rather spend two hours revising than two hours commuting.

Online vs Classroom — An Honest Comparison

Classroom Online
Discipline Built in — you showed up You have to supply it; recordings make skipping easy
Doubt solving Immediate, in person Scheduled sessions and chat
Peer pressure Strong — you see others working Weaker unless you engage in the batch group
Travel cost 1–2 hours a day None
Flexibility Low High

Our honest advice: if you can reach one of our centres in under 40 minutes and you are a first-time aspirant, take the classroom batch. If travel is over an hour each way, or you are working, online usually wins on total study hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the online classes live or recorded?

Live, on a fixed timetable, with recordings available afterwards. The recordings are backup for a missed class, not the primary format.

Is the online fee different from classroom?

Course structure and fees vary by exam and batch. Contact us for the current fee and batch schedule for your exam.

Can I switch from online to classroom later, or the other way round?

Yes. Students who change jobs or move house switch mid-course without restarting, because both formats follow the same syllabus and schedule.

Do I get the same test series as classroom students?

Yes — the identical test series, with the same rank and topic-wise analysis.

What do I need to attend an online class?

A laptop or desktop and a stable connection. Classes work on a phone, but full-length mocks should be attempted on a computer because the real exam is taken on one.
