What Is MAH MBA CET?
MAH MBA CET is the state-level entrance exam for admission to MBA and MMS programs at over 300 management institutes across Maharashtra, including top names like JBIMS, SIMSREE, and PUMBA. It’s a reasoning-heavy exam — Logical and Abstract Reasoning together carry the highest weightage — conducted across multiple sessions each year, with scores normalised to ensure fairness across different test slots.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline from a UGC- or AIU-recognized university.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% aggregate for General category, 45% for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra.
Final-Year Students: Eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree requirements before the admission process concludes.
Nationality/Domicile: Both Maharashtra State candidates and All India candidates can appear, though seat allocation rules differ during counselling.
Age Limit: No upper age limit.
(Always verify current-cycle qualifying percentages against the official notification.)
Exam Pattern
| Section | Questions |
|---|---|
| Logical Reasoning | 75 |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 50 |
| Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) | 50 |
| Abstract Reasoning | 25 |
| Total | 200 questions, 200 marks, 150 minutes |
Questions from different sections appear in a random, mixed order — there are no sectional time limits, so candidates must manage their own time across all four areas within the 150-minute window. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, with no negative marking. Since the exam is conducted across multiple sessions, scores are normalised for fairness.
(Exact section-wise question distribution is revised periodically by the CET Cell — our faculty updates class material each cycle to match the current official pattern.)
